Fuck Facebook and have a nice day

Posted by claudio.capo on February 13th, 2009

I sometimes feel the same as Pablo Zárate. Nothing new is happening: everyday invites for useless games, crazy pictures posted (even worse when you are in it), video’s you can find on Youtube as well, pokes (which is nice sometimes), angry responses when you unfriend someone, etc….

Fuck Facebook and have a nice day.

Hell yeah, Facebook has some nice things as well. All of my connections of course. Birthday Calendar. How else can I remember your birthday. Facebook Connect, a great feature to integrate Facebook functionality in your projects. …

Maybe ‘Have a nice day’ was good enough.

Smile cups

Isn’t this a cool cup? I think it looks great. It makes me smile.

I love coffee. No, I adore coffee. Especially in the morning. Having my shot of caffeine in one of these would make my day a great day. A smiling cup at my desk.

The Quest for the Rest

quest for the rest
quest for the rest

This site dates back from 2004 but I love it.

Today I stumbled upon this pretty fun website called Quest for the Rest from The Polyphonic Spree on which they present their album ‘Together we’re heavy’.

The goal is to find your way through the site and reach level 4. A little thinking is necessary to find out what you need to do to get the characters moving. If you pay attention to the smallest details it’s easy to get them going.

Well done if you ask me. Anyone an idea about who might have made this site?

It’s a website to discover and interact with other visitor. You can choose your own avatar, have sound enabled and chat. In the meantime you can have a look at the agency’s work and other things thay want to share with the visitor. Enjoy.

(Thanks to my nice colleague for sharing the link.)

Wallpaper

Posted by claudio.capo on October 23rd, 2006

We are looking to redecorate some parts of our house. So we are walking into every decoration store that comes to our attention. But also online we are surfing around to find things that meet our needs.

Recently we were in The Hague and entered this cozy decoration store. We were astonished by the collection of wallpapers they sell. We are in love with the Cole and Son collection, which is amazingly beautiful.

Design Public wallpaperBut today when I was looking for some information for work I noticed that one of the resources I regularly frequent has a page on StyleHive. She has an amazing collection of things to buy. So I saw this really realy cool wall covering. Something like braille writing. This is really something for my bedroom.

The cool thing is that you can customize the wall covering by rotating every other tile or row, mix-and-match patterns or even paint them to coordinate with your decor. It’s customizable because this wallpaper exists out of peel-and-stick adhesive tabs.

This is wallpaper that you can adjust every month or so. And the price is really ok I guess. Only $85 for 22,5 square feet/6,85 square meter.
