Today I came across Navigaya and I was totally amazed by what I saw. It took me a while to get the picture. The site opens with a full screen video playing while offering a search bar. All became clear when hovering at the top and bottom of the screen. More items became visible and I was even more surprised. This is not just a site. Navigaya has it all, I’d define it even more than a portal. This is a total surfing experience, futuristic surfing experience. What else to define it? Surf the way you want it.
Navigaya is a site on which you can watch video (with sound), create your own playlists, surf around, read magazines, read your mail, search via search engine you can set your self on and off. ! I have never seen anything like this before. Just wow.
Maybe they should make it a stand alone application instead of opening it in a browser window.

As it says on the del.icio.us blog, they got aqcuired by Yahoo just as Flikr got before.
What’s next to buy for Yahoo? Flock? So they have a browser as well and they can merge all these things in one?
I will wait and see what will happen to del.icio.us. For sure it will contribute to Yahoo search. But I hope the keep the service since they made tagging as bookmarks a big thing.

Tipmonkies has a post with an impressive list of all Google Services and features released in the past.
Very nice and might come in handy. Some of the services I never heard of! For instance the possibility to call advertisers directly from Google search results, for free, at Googles expense (Google Click-to-Call).
For the entire list of services, visit the Tipmonkies weblog. They’ve put an explanaition next to each service to make it easy for you.

I wrote about the latest Google Update called Jagger. After the Google Dance I was left behind with a zero pagerank. But tonight I noticed the green bar in my Google toolbar. And yes, I have a 3/10 pagerank. I can only be happy about it, since I just started blogging.
Seems there was a Jagger 2 update.

It seems like the Jagger update twisted like a hurricane through wwwland. A little while ago I posted about a pagerank prediction tool, predicting me a pagerank 4 after the update. Well, it stands at 0 and I guess that’s going to stay for a while. Also my main site, www.soulcreation.com, dropped from 4 to what do you guess, 0.
After reading other blogs posting about the subject, it seems I am not alone. Google’s dominating and what can we do? Get every one to list in yahoo and msn and get a high ranking in there?

As if all those search engines don’t give you headaches enough with all their news and consolidations, not to mention the new features they launch, a new way of searching comes alive … Gada.be.
Gada.be introduces a new faster way of finding things on the web. It’s a metasearch service for anybody in need of immediate, impartial results. You type in your search request directly is the address bar as a subdomain.
An example could be ipod.gada.be where ipod is the subdomain.
This is a super cool way of searching. No nonsense and straight forward. Of course you can search on the site by typing in your query into a search box. But at the end the result is the same.
More details can be found on their website, explaing how you can search with operators (AND, OR) using dashes and dots.
I am impressed and for sure use this easy way of finding things.
Gada.be is also discussed on SearchEngineWatch.

This little tool on iWebTool.com predicts the pagerank of your website after the next Google Dance. Now having a pointless score, I will get a decent 4 afterwards. Guess that’s nice for a start.
Another nice tool is the Backlink Checker. Find out how many site link to your site.
