Doing things differently leads to something exceptional.
Abslout always has exceptional things when it comes down to advertising. Also this video by TBWA NY is exceptional again. (via Fubiz) :
A group of artists comes together in locations around the world to create art pieces that spell out the philosophy of Absolut Vodka. See something different in an ABSOLUT WORLD. (from the ABSOLUT world on Youtube)
Here is a fun movie clip which reminds me of Electrabel (an energy supplier) commercials we have over here in Belgium. Only this one is much much nicer.
Lori Nix makes beautiful images. No doubt about that. Well it’s my personal taste. But today I came across an interview with her on Coolhunting.com in which she explains how she takes or better makes her images. None are digitally manipulated.
Well, amazingly she never leaves the house for taking pictures. She creates/builds her own miniature sceneries, going from gardens to town halls to landscapes. On her site you can read that she’s an artist who bends the line between truth and illusion in her photographs. If you look at her pictures, she is right. I really like the idea of how she accomplishes all of her compositions.
A while ago I talked about Tom Judd’s Everyday project. During one year he drew one picture everyday. You can read about his project on this project’s website. His everyday books are also for sale. He sells them in 7 parts and they look nice!
Tom also started a new project called Once a Week. As you might have guessed, he draws weekly illustrations and they are for sale immediatly. Also this is very nice artwork.
About a year ago Tom Judd started a project, drawing pictures. Easy done you might think but he drew one picture everyday for one year long. The outcome is just fanatasic. 365 Drawings of observatories, monsters, robots and weird things.
If someone would actually help this fine man get his drawings printed in a book an publish it, I would certainly buy it! This is fine work of art.
