Here’s a fun test with a simple question:”Count the passes of the white team”. Afterwards you will be asked another simple question.
My answer was no.

This really is a pain in the ass. Since a week or 2 I am getting errors on this blog. It seems that table wp_postmeta has crashed. Since I am not a database administrator I really don’t know how to fix this. Any idea anyone? Is it possible to fix a table? Or do I need to dump all tables and do a full install (after I made a back-up of course)?
Help please. Anyone at Worpress?
Update:
There seems to be a function that calls ‘repair table’ in phpMyAdmin. This did it. Crashed table is fixed.

I read a post at Bnox.be about what “experts‘ are saying/thinking about USG in the year 2020. Frankly, I don’t know if USG is still an actual topic in about 13 years. Maybe content will be chewed and prepared for us. Maybe a new law will be in order to avoid and punish miscommunication. Maybe USG content will take a flight and leave marketeers without a job. Maybe, maybe …
I am curious to read about those experts ideas.

A pretty cool stop motion movie: Tony vs Paul. I know that if you have some spare time and browse Youtube or Google video or other video sites you can find nice stop motions. But this one is pretty nice. Enjoy.

I just finished 2 great books which I received from 2 different friends. They both are about change. I am happy I read them both.
Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap . . . and Others Don’t (Jim Collins)
It’s about a five year research project about how a good company can become a great company. And if it becomes great, how did it became this or the other way around, why didn’t it become great.

Who moved my cheese? (DR Spenser Johnson)
This book is about change. About fear of changing, noticing when to change and actually change and enjoy changing. 4 Characters live in a maze. All they need to do is look for cheese to live. Then all of sudden a change occurs. What does this change mean for the 4 characters. Which character do you relate to?

A little while ago I placed a post about PostSecret. Now this site, grouphug.us, is similar but without the graphics as on PostSecret. Just another site where you can confess. Soon priests really will be out of a job. Perhaps both sites need somebody to post ‘amen’ after each confession.

Nice feature with surprises. You ask a question, someone else, a complete stranger, answers. Before you ask tho, you must answer a question. There is an option to get the anwser to your question by mail.

1 000 000 000
It’s no more as it says: One Billion Visits. It’s the world biggest countdown. It’s about nothing. It’s about a meeting place where people from all over the world visit the same site for one simple reason: to make the counter reach ZERO. No more, no less.
Update:
Seems like this is no longer the world largest countdown. There is a six billion visits! The site has an interface showing the world population. Nothing much of interest wouldn’t it be you can find more info at Nationmaster.com.

Ever felt like being creative. And if you loved those small flipbooks in your childhood (or maybe even still). Here is a chance to create your own flipbook. It’s very amuzing.
