About 2 weeks ago I mentioned that Boulevart was selected as a finalist in the develop category at Adobe MAX Milan. Well, last week Boulevart has won an Adobe MAX award. They’ve won the award in the develop category with their ‘Rock Werchter’ mobile application.
The award is a great thing. But even greater was my lovely colleague Wim, who had promised to shave off his rock star hair if we won the award and actually kept his promise.
Last week, from Wednesday 22 of august until Friday 24 of august, some clever colleagues of mine competed in the Adobe Air Summer Camp and created a nifty Tamagotchi alike AIR application. And they won the contest. I am proud to have some brilliant minds as a colleague.
Competitions was great if I heard the stories. About 14 contestants (Lost Boys, These Days, Red Urban, Tribal DDB, …) from the Benelux competed for the numer one prize: a ticket to the Adobe MAX Conference in Barcelona. So my 3 team members are ready to go. Now I only need to convince people at work those 3 really need a Project manager to guide them.
After a Lion was put up for sale on eBay and you had to lay down big bucks to be the (lucky) owner, you know can earn big bucks finding a Golden Lion.
Far Far, an award winning company at the Cannes Advertising Awards offers a $1000 reward to the one that can bring back their lost Golden Lion they won. Well lost is not the word. A drunk employee doesn’t remember where he had burried the Lion on the beach of the Palm Beach Casino in Cannes.
So simple but so strong. Just one word to deliver the message.
Excellent campaign from Saatchi & Saatchi (Beirut). Also an award winning campaign in Cannes.
(thanks to creative criminal for listing most of the winning campaigns)
Mortierbrigade, the Brussels based agency, has placed the Bronze Lion it won during the recent Cannes International Advertising Festival, for sale on eBay. They won the award for a guerrilla campaign they made for the auction site. This way they want to share the prize with the eBay community.
A little bizar if you ask me but if you are up on paying 475 Euros, go ahead and bid. Because that’s the price it’s at at this very moment. The auction still lasts for about 2 days.
Update:
A day before the end of the bidding the price is 1020 Euros.
